Kendall and Emily are locals in the area from Knoxville. They decided to come to the Smokies for the day. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend at the Space Needle since it would be covered from the rain that was coming, but with some maintenance going on there, the observation deck was closed.
We went on to Plan B. That was to go to the Old Mill beside their beautiful waterfall. It started to rain, but that didn’t stop Kendall from asking her to marry him! She didn’t expect him to ask her. She had a great reaction and of course, said “YES!”
