It’s hard to walk up to a family that you don’t know and try to gather as much information as you can from them so you can figure out how you need to capture them. I am so thankful that I have been blessed with wonderful people. After I get done photographing them, I feel like I gained new friends.
This whole group comes from different parts of Illinois. They were so great to work with. We had to move locations due to rain, but it all worked out and we still got a few mountain views.
We started off at The Island in Pigeon Forge. They have a great greenway walkway that is next to the river. We took lots of different groupings of the family next to the fences and river.
This mom and dad had 5 kids and now their children are married with their own families. I know the older the kids get, the harder it is to plan a get-together and then on top of that plan a photo session.
