John and Ashley were married at Maple Lane Farms in Johnson City, Tennessee. It is such a beautiful area! I love the gazebo and red barns on the land. The wedding was a great day. The bride and groom decided to have a first look and see each other before the wedding. I always love this because it gives them more time to be together and we can get most of the pictures out of the way before the wedding. This helps the bride and groom arrive much earlier at the reception.
At the reception, John and Ashley planned a very funny first dance with each other – they had everyone laughing. Ashley is such a quiet and shy girl, so it was very surprising to see her do that in front of all the guests.
This was one of my favorite weddings to photograph. I love being a photographer because it allows me to be a part of the bride and groom’s special day and get to know them so well.
