Matthew and Sydney have been a couple for 6 years!! They planned a week out in Gatlinburg and as a surprise he thought he would have a couple’s session for his girlfriend. She was excited he wanted to do that. We met up and headed out to Cades Cove. As soon as we got started, I did a few shots, then had Matt to stand behind Sydney. I told him to whisper in her ear and tell her how much he loves her. He then told her he had a surprise for her and got down on one knee!! She was not expecting him to propose!! It was super sweet!
I thought about setting up my phone to record the proposal, I wasn’t sure if you would hear or see them but it turned out better than I hoped. You will probably have to turn up the volume.
After the proposal we kept driving around Cades Cove and took some more beautiful photos of them! It was no trouble getting them to smile. Sydney was so giggly and happy!
The ring is gorgeous! I think he did a great job on surprising her. I wish you guys many happy years together! Thanks for having me there to capture it 🙂
