When Ryan and I moved up to the Knoxville area, we found a great church in Sevierville called Pathways. We met Mike and Marcella and they were dating a couple of months at the time when we met them. We all were wondering when he would ever ask her but he never lead us to believe it would ever be soon.
Ryan and I work on the production team at our church and was working that morning. While walking up to the church, Mike tells us his plan of proposing to Marcella at the Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, while they are sitting on Santa’s lap. I was so excited! I saw Marcella at church and I kept thinking ” Your Getting Engaged Today!”
We got there at the Christmas Place while they were in line and stayed hidden in the village area until they went up to see Santa. Marcella was in complete shock! Everyone in line thought it was so sweet! I am so happy that I got to witness it and be apart of such a special and memorable day for them. Ryan videoed the proposal as well. Guys out there! Get someone to photograph and video the proposal. It happens so fast that you will want to relive it again and again.
