Casey and Kristine planned a get away together to Gatlinburg, TN. Their first day here, they planned on going to Laurel Falls to see the beautiful waterfall. Casey and I orgnaized to start at 9:30am. It worked out perfectly. We both pulled in the same time and I followed them up the trail. I brought along my friend Whitney and she kept me company on the walk up.
Kristine was so sweet. She stopped on the trail and took photos of the mountains and talked to us some before we got to the waterfall. We beat them to the waterfall and stood back and waited for them to arrive. I got some photos of them sitting and talking. She asked if she was in the way of me taking pictures and of course she wasn’t 😉 She then asked me if I would take a picture of her and her boyfriend and said “I’ll take one of you and you’re friend if you like”, so we exchanged taking photos and then sat in front of the waterfall together. Casey was waiting for the crowd to die down and then he pulled her in front of the waterfall and asked her to marry him. She was so shocked! She then realized we were in on the surprise.
We then headed and explored the area as I took photos of the newly engaged couple down below the waterfall. They were super sweet and I am so happy I got to capture their proposal.
