The day finally arrived for Connor to propose to Layla. We had a stressful morning, due to all the rain in the forecast. We finally decided to go ahead and do the hike. They arrived, right on time in the parking lot, I sat and saw them walking up the trail. I got my camera in my bag and walked behind them.
When we reached the top, no one was there but another mom and her kids. The lady with the kids asked me to take a photo of them. I then let her in on the surprise that was getting ready to happen. She gladly videoed the proposal on my phone and I photographed it from a distance.
Layla was blown away!! She loved how he thought all this up and was tickled when she saw me photographing it and it got caught on video. It turned out perfect!! I finally got to meet them and hear their story of how they have been together for 7 years. They are high school sweethearts with a cute little boy.
It turned out to be a perfect day and perfect weather for these two. It started raining not long after we left. I hope you have a beautiful upcoming wedding.
