Jarred planned a fun photo shoot for Kayla for her birthday. She was very excited. We went out to Emerts Cove Covered Bride outside of Gatlinburg for their session. The day we had scheduled, it rained all day yesterday and all morning long. I asked if he wanted to reschedule, but he had his heart set on proposing that day. I brought my friend Kristi along to hold umbrellas. It turned out to be a nice evening.
At the end of the session, he told Kayla to turn around and close her eyes, he has a surprise for her. Since it was her birthday, she thought he bought her a charm for her charm bracelet, but when she opened her eyes, she was shocked to see him down on one knee ready to propose. It was super sweet. Kristi and I were tearing up!!
