Joe wanted to make his proposal to his girlfriend special. He knew they planned on hiking the Laurel Falls Nature Trail during their trip to Gatlinburg, so he did his best to find a photographer to hike the trail secretly behind them. It was a little tricky, but we did pull it off. I brought along my friend Whitney to keep me company. We had fun chatting on the way up. The couple did pass us a couple of times because we wasn’t as fast as them. HA!
When we got to the top, we just stood back and pretended to photograph the waterfall. Joe took Sharee’s hand and pulled her close to ask for her to marry him. She was stunned and couldn’t believe all this work he put into it. She was definitely surprised to see me snapping pictures!
After the proposal, we took some fun shots of the two of them at some great spots on the trail. We then went to Noah Bud Ogle Place to have a mini session. Joe brought along some clothes for them to change into. It was a great proposal and so nice to be apart of this!
