Roger surprised Kimberly with a trip to the Smoky Mountains. She came home from work and he told her to pack her bags. She didn’t know what he had planned.
He told her he wanted to hike Grotto Falls while on this trio. The day of, it was wet and rainy. It made for the trail to be very smoky, but the waterfall was flowing so well.
Roger and I texted each other that morning and I secretly met up with them at a gas station and followed them to the trail. I stayed pretty far back behind them and then waited for him to propose at the waterfall. We really lucked up and didn’t have much of a crowd. She was thrilled he finally asked!! I had a great time getting to know them and capturing the beautiful trail.
This is such a beautiful trail and the morning fog made for a beautiful hike.
Kimberly was stunned by Roger proposing!! She loved it being next to the waterfall.
Roger then pointed me out from the side. She was shocked to see it was all captured on camera for them.
It was such a pleasure to be apart of this amazing day!! I loved this proposal.
