Kevin and Heather were engaged on November 14, 2008 and were planning on being married in the fall the following year.  Only 4 months after their engagement Kevin suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke which changed their lives forever.  The stroke left Kevin unable to walk or talk at first.  He went through 4 months of intense therapy at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  This was a very difficult time for both of them as they only got to see each other on the weekends. Kevin came home in July 2009 and continues to do therapy 3 days a week.  He is now able to walk and talk. Once you go through a life changing event like this you realize what is really important in life and that you should never take anything for granted. Kevin and Heather both give thanks to God above for sparing Kevin’s life and giving them this time together.  Just like the scripture says, there is nothing love can not face. Kevin and Heather are truly blessed to have found each other and the special love they share.

They had a beautiful wedding at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN. Kevin was so funny and use to be a police officer. They brought the cop car for them to take a pictures with. I love both of them so much and I wish them many years of happiness and praying for Kevin to have a full recovery.
